Learn How To Design A Resilient Kitchen Garden with Lucy Chamberlain
18th April 2024 / 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Spend the day with Lucy to learn how to grow food that’s guaranteed to give abundant harvests, whatever the weather throws at it. This introduction to future-proofing your kitchen garden will teach you how to choose edibles that match your garden’s microclimate. This leads to bigger, better harvest, far less wasting of valuable resources such as water and fertiliser – and far less effort for you.
You’ll also learn essential practical skills such as how to sow seeds indoors and out, and how to plant up a bed to give delicious harvests from robust edibles. There will also be comprehensive handouts, plus a goodie bag to take home with you on the day.
Coffee/tea and a light lunch and drinks are included.
Suitable for beginners and more experienced gardeners. Spaces are limited so please book early. The workshop will be held at Far From The Madding Crowd in the village of Leavenheath, CO6 4PU. We will be in touch nearer the time with the exact location and any further information. Tickets are non-refundable.
