Lampshade making with the Haines Collection
23rd March 2022 / 9:15 am - 12:30 pm
Given by one of the most influential interior up-cyclers of the moment, Jules Haines is coming to sunny Suffolk and will be teaching you how to make your very own lampshade. Bring along your own fabric (0.5 metres will be plenty), alternatively you can purchase fabric from the Haines Collection beforehand.
The morning session will begin at 9:30am, so please come at 9.15 and it will finish at 12.30 – tea/coffee and cakes included
Price includes the cost of all lampshades. You will need to choose between a 30cm diameter drum or a 30cm cone shaped lampshade. We will contact you once you have bought your ticket to confirm your choice.
Spaces are limited so please book early. The workshop will be held at Far From The Madding Crowd in the village of Leavenheath, CO6 4PU. We will be in touch nearer the time with the exact location and any further information. Tickets are non-refundable.
The Haines Collection provides a solution to the environmental challenges facing the Interiors industry today.
They are a pioneering platform for the resale of fabric offcuts that would otherwise most likely be headed to landfill. The Haines Collection enables interior businesses to make small but positive changes to help reduce the negative impact that they have on the planet.
Jules is an interiors lover and waste hater. With over a decade in the interiors industry she has experienced first-hand the high volume of waste around. So in 2018, with a small budget, part-time job and a 1 and 3 year old – Jules decided to build a brand that could make a difference. A conscious business.
