Join us for an unforgettable open-air feast where flame, flavour and fine wine from the New World come together. Jack Rowbottom and Annabel Campbell have teamed up to pack a punch into your Summer BBQs. With the flare and fire in front of you Jack will serve up a finger licking 5 course feast – each course will be paired with the big bold flavours of new world wine!
Jack will take centre stage at the grill, guiding guests through the art of cooking over fire. He’ll demonstrate how to perfectly barbecue fish, followed by three exceptional meat courses and a show-stopping dessert – all prepared entirely on the BBQ. From managing heat zones and choosing the right fuel, to mastering timing, seasoning and smoke, Jack will share practical techniques you can confidently recreate at home.
As each course is served, wine expert Annabel will talk you through the perfectly paired New World Wine. From Argentina to New Zealand, via the bold flavours of South Africa, and Australia, Annabel will take you on a tour of the typical styles coming from below the equator. She’ll explore the stories behind the regions, grape varieties and producers, while explaining how flavour profiles, tannins, acidity and oak influence food pairing. There’s no doubt our friends in the southern hemisphere truly know what they’re doing when it comes to crafting wines that perfectly complement bold, flame-cooked BBQ flavours – and you’ll taste exactly why.
Expect big, bold, smokey flavours, sumptuous wines, engaging demonstrations and a relaxed, sociable atmosphere — a celebration of fire, food and fantastic wine.

Jack Rowbottom is the fire-obsessed bloke behind Jack’s Meat Shack. What started as a backyard passion has turned into a full-blown barbecue adventure—one that’s taken him from firing up the grill for mates to running his own barbecue school and launching a cookbook packed with recipes that have shaped his life.
Through social media, Jack has built a thriving community of fellow barbecue lovers, sharing mouth-watering recipes, cooking tips, and behind-the-scenes moments from the bbq world. Whether it’s Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok, he loves engaging with his followers, answering questions, and showing that anyone can master the grill with a bit of patience and a lot of fire.

Annabel has spent her career bringing people and great wine together. She began at local merchant Lay & Wheeler, before heading overseas to work harvests in Australia and Italy. Curious about the global wine landscape, she then moved to Beijing to explore and understand China’s fast-growing wine regions.
Returning to her first love, hospitality, Annabel settled back in London, where in 2011 she founded The 10 Cases, a much-loved wine bar known for its ever-changing wine lists that feature wines from all over the world. She has completed the prestigious WSET Wine Diploma and also created the women-only wine course Your Wine PT, designed to build confidence, knowledge, and enjoyment around wine. Engaging, light-hearted and ultimately a lot of fun, Annabel’s tastings showcase great wines and create lasting memories.
