The Stand Up For Suffolk Fund, which is managed by The Suffolk Community Foundation, was founded with a simple but powerful ambition: to support grassroots organisations that make Suffolk’s communities stronger.

In just three years, that ambition has raised an incredible £78,983 through the generosity of individual donors, the Hadleigh Christmas Fair, and remarkable fundraising challenges such as the Stour Valley Marathon and the 100km Stour Valley Path. Thanks to this collective effort, to date nearly £50,000 has been awarded to 14 voluntary organisations across Ipswich, Hadleigh and Sudbury areas.

The fund has now grown to a point where an endowment can be established, creating a permanent source of income that will strengthen and expand the £20,000 already available for grant-making each year.

Every pound raised is helping to secure long-term support for local communities. Together, we are not just making a difference, we are creating a future where Suffolk’s communities can thrive.
